Random Thanksgiving Thoughts

Yesterday was thanksgiving so we went over to my parents house and had a delicious meal including: Turkey, dressing, potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, wine, coffee, milk, apple pie, and pumpkin pie. The pies and green bean casserole were put together by Beth and Monica while the remainder was handled by Mom and Dad. I ate enough for the rest of the day.

Deer Hunting

Dad and I drove up to our hunting shack on Friday afternoon.We ended up getting there about a half hour before dark and setup just in time. We had good time playing cribbage and chewing the fat. We were up at 5 o’clock on Saturday morning to take our places. It turned out that I didn’t see any deer until about ten to four. The doe I saw was fairly small and was about 120 yards out. I felt I would take my chances elsewhere and let her live. By end
