Arrival / Ski Trip Day 1

Seth and I arrived in Colorado last evening at about 8:30. We firmed up the rental car and headed to the hotel. Though we got lost for about 20 minutes, we found our hotel in Golden Colorado. The rental car is a Dodge Durango and suits us just fine. It is bigger than the Jeep Liberty we first thought we’d get. The Sportube we used to transfer the ski equipment was an excellent purchase as it protected them from all the things that go on during plane travel.

Thursday morning we got up and had a light breakfast and started driving the Summit County. Our destination this morning would be Copper Mountain. Retail for the ticket was $75 but I purchased a CO coupon book before Beth and I went three weeks ago and it ended up saving Seth and I $30 each. Cha-Ching! Tomorrow we won’t be quite as lucky… Vail is $85 and they don’t offer discounted tickets. (N) Since we’re out here for skiing, though, we have to do it.

New Post – YAAY

I haven’t been posting alot lately due to unforseen occurrences. For example, my digital camera tanked on me so I can’t post any pictures. In addition, my workload has increased. Barring these two factors, I am taking time out this morning to write a bit. Since the last time I blogged, I’ve gone to Colorado with Beth, received a beautiful Santa Cruz Blur XC from Wayne,
