Wems Race Results – 12 Hours at Levis / Trow

Posted by joel on August 14, 2007

The three Hynes brothers attended the recent WEMS race at Levis where Seth and I did the 50 mile solo and Luke did the 25 mile solo. The night before the race, it rained for roughly four hours according to one of the organizers which made the 100 mile race quite dirty indeed. As for the 50 and 25 milers, it dried out enough to where it was only a slight bother. For the 50 mile race, the format consisted of two 25 mile laps which made for an arduous journey! The course ended up being about 70% single track and 30% double track. All and all I faired quite well – no mechanicals, didn’t cramp, and no issues to speak of. Seth mentioned that he cramped with about 2 miles to go and Luke cramped with about 8 miles go.

Seth and I intent to do the Wright Stuff Century on Semptember 2nd.

One last note, Mory found a cool pic of our first race this year (12 Hours of GEARS) taken by Team Pegasus. Have a look!
