1st Place – WORS Big Ring Classic Comp 30-34
Posted by joel on June 2, 2008
Sunday was my second race of the season at my home course – 9 Mile. Matt Block, the course designer, did an excellent job laying out the 8.1 mile course, in my oppinion. There was a good mix of single track and passing double track.
This was my first race on the Intense Spider FRO and it performed flawlessly! The two coolest features (besides the frame) which I added to the bike are the Rohloff Chain Guide and the Stans ZTR Race wheelset. The [Rohloff Chain Guide] kept the chain right where it is supposed to be; spinning on my 34 tooth Salsa chainring. The [Stans NoTubes ZTR Race] wheelset has been the biggest weight saving item coming in at roughly 1230gr, waay light. I can’t say enough about the entire build, it is spot on.
I also have give Wayno a shout out for helping with the build and cheering me on at 9 Mile.
Finally, here are the [overall results] and [class results] (M30-34).
